The Mallard was built at Doncaster in 1938, and is the holder of the world speed record for steam locomotives. Designed by the great Sir Nigel Gresley (of Flying Scotsman fame), it was built with a streamlined body that allowed it to sustain high speeds over a period of time. This great new collection gives you the chance to build your own magnificent 0-gauge model of the locomotive, and learn about the golden age of steam in an accompanying magazine.
